The role shopping centres play in local life is so fascinating. When you look “inside” the centre, you can see the neighbourhood within the neighbourhood – just as dynamic and diverse as the outside world.
Looking beyond spend data, the Neighbourlytics platform was leveraged to gain further context into local lifestyle including understanding the local amenity offering, most popular places to visit, visitation, pedestrian connectivity, and activity hotspots including public spaces.
On this particular project, the Neighbourlytics platform provided a baseline to measure activity levels pre, during and post the covid pandemic and to understand which lifestyle categories were driving the covid bounce-back. This provided invaluable data for understanding and adapting to the evolving local landscape.
